About us
The founding of East Fremantle Tee Ball Club (now known as the Melville Mariners Ball Club Inc.) can be traced back to the early 80s,
Born out of a passion to provide a fun and engaging sports program for local kids. A small group of dedicated parents and community members came together to create a welcoming space where children could learn, play, and make friends.
The founding members worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where children could learn the fundamentals of baseball while having fun and making friends.
Their vision still guides us today: we focus on fun, fair play, fundamental skills and family involvement, making sure every kid feels included and supported.
Let’s Play Ball!
Tee Ball, a fun and inclusive sport for kids aged 4-12, offers a simplified introduction to baseball and softball. Players hit the ball off a tee, rather than a pitch and on a smaller diamond. This creates a supportive environment where every child can participate and develop fundamental skills.
Catchment Area: Alfred Cove, Applecross, Ardross, Attadale, Bateman, Bicton, Booragoon, Brentwood, Coogee, East Fremantle, Fremantle, Melville, Mt Pleasant, Myaree, Mosman Park, North Fremantle, Palmyra and surrounding areas
